Selahadin Hassen Bedane began his entrepreneurial journey in 2005 with a small plastic and plastic product shop located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The business initially offered a range of PVC floorings, leather, tarpaulin, table covers, and canvas.
In 2006, the company expanded its operations to include the importation of various goods such as PVC flooring, leather, carpets, bed sheets, blankets, fabric, cars, furniture, stationery, ceramic, marble, kitchen cabinets, and closets. These imports came from several countries including Turkey, China, India, Thailand, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and various European nations.
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, the company broadened its product range to include household appliances in 2020, becoming one of the exclusive distributors of the Media brand household appliances in Ethiopia. During this period, the company rebranded itself as Target Household and Office Electric Equipment Trade. This change signified the company’s commitment to providing a diverse array of products including household appliances, electronics, furniture, cars, and stationery.
